ZIP-It Fall Travel 2011
This year we attended 3 different events with multiple high school and middle school teams:
The Las Vegas Showcase- November 11th-13th in Las Vegas- We had U15/U17/U19 teams.

Palm Desert Classic-November 25th and 26th For the second year in a row our local Henderson boys took home the championship for the elite high school team. Zip-It lacrosse had two high school teams present this year. Click to enlarge photo.
Sin City Showdown- December 3rd and 4th in Las Vegas. Also The LXM Pro event was the same weekend at the same location. This is an Adrenaline Event and counts towards West Coast Starz. http://www.adrenalinelacrosse.com/event.php?eventid=1207&pageid=1210
Zip-It Lacrosse has middle and high school teams present and all teams played very well. The High School Elite lost in playoffs and came in second place this year.

10 Weeks of Lacrosse
September 9th –November 12th
Dates
Start:
Friday, September 9, 2011 @ 4:00 PM (players need to be ready to stretch at 4 pm)
Saturday September 10th, 2011 @ 8am-12 noon (ready and dressed at 8:15 ready to stretch. Drills, clinics, shooting and skill sessions)
September 17, 2011 First day of fall ball, learning the game for new players. Scrimmages for returning players. You will be evaluated and watched for skill level. After Saturdays practice, you will be sorted by the coaches and we will draft teams for the 7v7 season. Coaches will contact you after you have been selected or the teams will be posted along with the schedule on zip-its website by Sunday Night 9/18. Your coach can elect to have practice during the week.
We will determine over the next few weeks when the sessions will be for games based on number of players and how many age groups we decide.

Brief Description
This is a full season of Lacrosse based on the 7 vs 7 model. We will have two clinic days at the start of fall ball for beginners and for returning players. We will have all age teams available from 2nd grade to high school seniors.
Refs, Coaches, and zip it game pinnies will be provided. All Age and Skill level Divisions. Pee Wee, Youth, Middle School, High School
Equipment
New players need cleats and mouth guard. We will be selling sticks for new players. We will go over equipment requirements for first time players on Friday night with parents.
Returning players must come with full gear and ready to play Friday night.

Additional Information
10-12 players per team. On the field only 6 field players plus a goalie. Rules will be posted on our website. Teams will be competing towards playoffs and the championship!!!
Summer Shooting Camp
This shooting camp is designed to develop both beginner players as well as advanced high school all-stars.This is Zip-its second Shooting Camp and the results from our first camp were impressive. Players increased shoot speed and accuracy and learn proper form and technique.
ALL AGES / ALL LEVELS
- Improve Shot Speed by 2-3 MPH in two days
- You will shoot more balls than a 3 day sleep over camp! Expect to take 100 shot plus a day!
- Improve accuracy
- Learn to take a pure shot, like in golf. It’s not in the power its ion the technique.
- Speed Gun
- Emphasis on over hand shots, shooting on the run, choosing your target
- Yes- we will teach the proper behind the back- there is a time and a place for this.
- Short sticks and long poles- D-poles and LSM alike need to improve shots and accuracy the same as shortys!

Henderson Jamboree
Zip-It Lacrosse would like to thank all of the teams who participated in this year’s Jamboree. You all made it the best Jamboree so far!!!!! We would also like to thank all of the staff and volunteers that ran this Jamboree like clockwork.
